Robert is based in our Stirling and Bonnybridge offices. He first joined Dickson Middleton in 2009 and completed his professional training, qualifying as a chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland in 2012.
After qualifying Robert gained experience with a Top 5 Global accounting firm as a manager in the audit department, Robert then gained experience as a finance manager for a national house builder before returning to Dickson Middleton in 2017.
Working with a varied client portfolio Robert specialises in audit with particular experience in property and construction as well as third sector organisations. Robert also works with small business clients and start-ups assisting with company set up, VAT registration and tax.
Robert has been involved on the Board of local charity organisations and in 2019 was named one of the top young accountants by the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland.
On returning to Dickson Middleton Robert said that it was his passion to see local businesses and charities succeed and grow that brought him back to the Firm and Robert looks to follow that passion when working with his clients.
